NDTV delays GoodTimes channel acquisition to March 2026

New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) provided an update on the acquisition of the GoodTimes Channel (Business Undertaking) from Lifestyle & Media Broadcasting Limited.

The transaction, originally expected to conclude within three months from the September 19, 2025 disclosure, is now anticipated to be completed within an additional period of approximately three months. This revised timeline means the acquisition is now expected to finalize around March 2026.

Consummation of the proposed acquisition remains contingent upon receiving applicable statutory and regulatory approvals, along with the fulfillment of customary conditions precedent. The update was communicated via a disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and signed by Parinita Bhutani Duggal, company secretary and compliance officer, on December 18, 2025.
