Kajaria Ceramics appoints two new independent directors

Kajaria Ceramics Limited's board of directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Hitesh Sohanlal Jain and Mr. Pradeep Udhas as additional directors, following recommendations from the nomination and remuneration committee. Both will serve as non-executive independent directors for five consecutive years, from December 19, 2025, to December 18, 2030, pending approval from the company's members.

Mr. Jain brings over three decades of experience as a senior legal professional, specializing in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory advisory. He is the founding and managing partner of Parinam Law Associates and was a member of the 23rd Law Commission of India. Mr. Udhas, who holds an MBA in management information systems, was formerly a senior advisor to KPMG India chairman and CEO. He also co-founded KPMG India, holding various senior and global roles.

Neither Mr. Hitesh Sohanlal Jain nor Mr. Pradeep Udhas are related to any existing director of Kajaria Ceramics Limited. Both appointees are also not debarred from holding directorial office by any SEBI order.
