Great Eastern Shipping sells Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier Jag Aarati

Great Eastern Shipping has contracted to sell its 2011-built Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier, "Jag Aarati," with a capacity of approximately 80,324 dwt, to an unaffiliated third party. The transaction was finalized on December 18, 2025, and the vessel is expected to be delivered to its new owner in Q4 FY26.

Following this sale, G E Shipping's owned fleet will consist of 40 vessels, including 26 tankers (6 crude, 16 product, 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, 2 Supramax), aggregating 3.32 million dwt. The company also anticipates completing the sale of one Suezmax crude tanker in Q3 FY26 and the purchase of one secondhand Ultramax dry bulk carrier in Q4 FY26.
