GPT Infraprojects secures ₹1804.48 crore Mumbai flyover contract

GPT Infraprojects Limited (GPTINFRA) has announced securing a new contract valued at ₹1804.48 crore for the construction of a flyover in Mumbai. The project involves building a flyover along LBS Marg from Kalpana Talkies Kurla to Pankhe Shah Dargah Ghatkopar West in the Eastern Suburbs. This domestic contract was awarded by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).

The project is structured as a joint venture, with GPTINFRA’s share amounting to 26%, or ₹469.16 crore, of the total contract value. The execution period for the flyover construction is set at 36 months, excluding monsoon seasons. The company confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction is not considered a related-party transaction.

This new contract significantly boosts GPTINFRA’s order book, which now stands at ₹3,861 crore, including an order inflow of ₹966 crore for fiscal 2026. GPT Infraprojects, a Kolkata-based infrastructure company, specializes in civil and infrastructure projects, particularly for railways and roads in India and Africa.
