Tata Consultancy Services launches new subsidiary in Bhutan

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has established 'TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES BT Private Limited', a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Bhutan, incorporated on December 16, 2025. This move was disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The new entity is a step-down subsidiary of TCS through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (TAPL).

The primary objective of TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES BT Private Limited is to establish operations in Bhutan to expand TCS's business presence in Southeast Asia, foster technological innovation, and provide high-quality IT solutions. The subsidiary is expected to support the growing demand for digital transformation in Bhutan, cultivate local talent through employment and training, and enhance the nation's human capital growth.

The initial capital subscription for the new subsidiary is in cash, amounting to 90 million Ngultrum, with TCS holding a 100% shareholding. The subsidiary will operate within the Information Technology and Information Technology-enabled Services industry.
