Hindustan Cotton increases stake in Sarla Performance Fibers

Hindustan Cotton Company, led by partner Sarladevi Madhusudan Jhunjhunwala, disclosed the acquisition of an additional 10,000 equity shares (0.012%) in Sarla Performance Fibers Limited. The transaction occurred on December 16, 2025, via the open market. This disclosure was made under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.

Before this acquisition, the promoter group's total holding in Sarla Performance Fibers was 47,610,586 shares, representing 57.0166% of the total share/voting capital. Following the acquisition of 10,000 shares, the total holding increased to 47,620,586 shares, elevating the promoter group's stake to 57.0286%.

The total equity share capital of Sarla Performance Fibers Limited remains at 83,503,000 shares both before and after the acquisition. The increased stake reaffirms the promoter group’s strengthened position within the company.
