BNP Paribas sells significant stake in Geojit Financial Services

BNP Paribas S.A. has divested 41,613,631 equity shares of Geojit Financial Services Limited, representing a 14.91% stake. The sale occurred on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited through open market trades executed between July 30th, 2025, and December 15th, 2025.

Prior to this transaction, BNP Paribas S.A. held 62,382,634 shares, or 22.35% of Geojit Financial Services' total voting capital. Following the sale, the firm's holding has decreased to 20,769,003 shares, representing 7.44% of the total voting capital. The company clarified that the diluted shareholding before and after the sale accounts for 9,862,700 outstanding convertible securities for ESOP.

This transaction alters BNP Paribas S.A.'s position as a promoter of Geojit Financial Services. The equity share capital of Geojit Financial Services Limited stands at INR 279,122,119, with each share valued at INR 1.
