Steel Exchange India shares released from pledge by Catalyst Trusteeship

On December 15, 2025, Catalyst Trusteeship Limited disclosed the release of 171,600,000 pledged equity shares in Steel Exchange India Ltd (SEIL). This action was taken in its capacity as debenture trustee for the benefit of debenture holders. The shares were released from Vizag Profiles Private Limited, the issuer/pledgor.

Before the release, 171,600,000 shares constituted 13.76% of SEIL's total share/voting capital and 13.45% of the total diluted share/voting capital. Post-release, the holding of shares in the nature of encumbrance by the acquirer is now nil.

The total equity share capital before and after the release remains at INR 1,24,72,20,542, representing 1,24,72,20,542 equity shares with a face value of INR 1 each. The total diluted share/voting capital of SEIL after the release is INR 1,27,55,18,412, representing 1,27,55,18,412 equity shares with a face value of INR 1 each.
