Rail Vikas Nigam wins ₹1.65 bn North Eastern Railway bridge project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a Letter of Award from the North Eastern Railway for a project valued at ₹1,65,04,33,673.76, inclusive of GST. The project involves constructing the substructure for Important Bridge No. 50 (14x61.0 m) with a Double D type well foundation.

This infrastructure development is designed for a double line with RDSO 25 T Axel loading standard over the Gandak river, situated between Paniyahwa and Valmikinagar stations. The work is part of broader doubling efforts within the Gorakhpur Cantt-Valmikinagar section of the North Eastern Railway.

The project is a domestic undertaking and is expected to be completed within 24 months. RVNL confirmed this contract falls within its normal course of business operations.
