India Finsec promoters pledge, release significant equity shares

India Finsec Limited’s promoters, including Mr. Gopal Bansal, Gopal Bansal LLP, Daisy Distributors Private Limited, Mr. Manoj Sharma, Ms. Sunita Bansal, and Mrs. Ganga Devi Bansal, have announced significant changes in their encumbered shareholdings. On December 15, 2025, disclosures were filed detailing both the creation and release of pledges on equity shares under SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover) Regulations, 2011.

The cumulative promoter holding in India Finsec stands at 16,331,201 shares, representing 55.94% of the total share capital. The encumbered shares account for 81.79% of the promoter shareholding, and 50% or more of promoter holding and 20% or more of total share capital are encumbered. The pledges were created primarily against the availability of intraday margin by broker Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.

On December 9, 2025, pledges were created on shares totaling 59,35,26,5 and 56,15,41,73 for Mr. Gopal Bansal and Gopal Bansal LLP, respectively, along with other promoters. Subsequently, on December 12, 2025, pledges were released, with the same entities having pledged shares. The primary business of the entity in whose favor shares were pledged is that of a share broker.
