Independent director resigns from IRM Energy board

IRM Energy Limited informed stock exchanges on December 16, 2025, that C K Gopal has resigned from his position as an independent director of the company. The resignation, submitted via email on December 15, 2025, is effective immediately due to "personal reasons & other pressing works" as stated in his resignation letter. Consequently, Gopal will also cease to be a member of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee and Risk Management Committee.

Gopal confirmed that there are no other material reasons for his resignation beyond those stated in his email. He had served as an independent director and held committee roles, including chairman of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Stakeholder Relationship Committee, and Risk Management Committee at Astral Limited.

The company has taken steps to notify regulatory bodies, including the ROC, SEBI, and the Stock Exchanges, as mandated by company law and LODR guidelines. This information was submitted in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
