Ahluwalia Contracts wins major Bihar tourism development project

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has secured a new domestic order for a civil construction project from the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. The contract, valued at Rs. 888.38 Crores (Including GST), involves the construction and overall development work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, Ayodhya at Punauradham, the birthplace of Mother Sita, situated at Sitamarhi District (Bihar).

The project is an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode contract with a stipulated execution period of 42 months. This award is a significant addition to the company's portfolio, contributing to its domestic project pipeline.

Ahluwalia Contracts confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions. The announcement was made in compliance with Clause 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
