Inox Wind secures 102.3 MW order from Aditya Birla Renewables

Inox Wind Limited (IWL), an Indian wind energy solutions provider, has secured a 102.3 MW order from ABREL EPC Ltd., a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables Limited (ABReL). This marks Inox Wind's first order from Aditya Birla Renewables, involving the supply of IWL's 3.3 MW turbines for projects in Karnataka.

The order underscores Inox Wind's continued progress in expanding its customer base within the renewable energy sector. Sanjeev Agarwal, chief executive of Inox Wind Ltd., highlighted the importance of this contract for ABReL's mission to drive India's energy transition and achieve its decarbonisation targets.

IWL is an integrated player in the wind energy market, possessing manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, with an annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 2.5 GW for its 3 MW series WTG offering. This order contributes to Inox Wind's ongoing growth and profitability in the competitive renewable energy landscape.
