BHEL names Sunil Kumar Somani head of Jagdishpur plant

Sunil Kumar Somani has been appointed as the new general manager and head of Fabrication, Stamping & Insulator Plant (FSIP) in Jagdishpur. This appointment is effective from December 15, 2025, and Somani will report to the director (E, R&D). This change is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015.

Somani brings extensive experience to his new role. He holds a bachelor of engineering degree in mechanical engineering and joined BHEL on February 12, 1990. With 35 years of service at the company, his long tenure underscores his deep understanding of BHEL's operations.

The announcement was made by Sayed Salahuddin, manager of corporate communication at BHEL, on December 15, 2025, ensuring investors are promptly informed of the senior management change.
