IDH International Drilling Holdco releases Essar Shipping shares

IDH International Drilling Holdco Limited, formerly Essar Shipping & Logistics Limited, a member of Essar Shipping Limited's promoter group, announced the release of 21,406,365 equity shares of Essar Shipping Limited. These shares, constituting 10.34% of the total share capital, were previously pledged in favor of Energy II Limited, Bermuda. The release occurred on December 10, 2025.

The disclosure, made under Regulation 31(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, confirms that the encumbrance on these shares has been removed. Prior to this release, IDH International Drilling Holdco Limited held 21,406,365 encumbered shares, representing 10.34% of Essar Shipping's total share capital.

Following the release, the post-event holding of encumbered shares for IDH International Drilling Holdco Limited is now zero.
