Vardhman Textiles invests in Sone Solar Energy project

Vardhman Textiles Limited announced on December 12, 2025, an investment of INR 5,05,21,220 in Sone Solar Energy One Private Limited. This investment was made by subscribing to 23,161 Equity Shares and 50,28,961 Compulsory Convertible Debentures, each with a face value of INR 10. This development follows previous intimations on November 25, 2025, regarding the execution of a 'Share Subscription and Shareholder's Agreement' and a 'Power Purchase Agreement' with Sone Solar Energy One Private Limited.

The investment is part of a larger approved plan totaling INR 9.13 crore to acquire a 19.5% stake in Sone's Equity Securities. This stake will support the establishment of a 30 MWac (42MWp) ground-mounted solar power generation facility in Punjab, designed to operate on a group captive basis. The project aims to enhance Vardhman Textiles' involvement in renewable energy initiatives.
