TotalEnergies trims stake in Adani Green Energy

TotalEnergies Renewables Indian Ocean Ltd has sold 28,640,138 equity shares of Adani Green Energy Limited, reducing its stake in the company. This transaction, executed via an open market sale on December 10, 2025, represents a 1.74% change in the total shareholding.

Following the sale, TotalEnergies Renewables Indian Ocean Ltd's ownership in Adani Green Energy now stands at 28,416,271,8 equity shares, or 17.25% of the total share/voting capital. Prior to this divestment, the seller held 18.99% of the company's equity. The previous disclosure on January 22, 2021, indicated a 20% holding by the seller and persons acting in concert (PAC), which has since been diluted to 18.99% due to further allotments by the target company.

The shares were sold on both the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited. Adani Green Energy's equity share capital before and after the acquisition/sale remains at INR 16,471,761,550, comprising 1,647,176,155 equity shares of INR 10 each.
