RR Kabel fined over ₹34 lakh for alleged GST violations

R R Kabel Limited announced on December 12, 2025, that it has been penalized by the Office of the Superintendent, Range-III, Division-VIII, CGST & CE, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The penalties, totaling ₹34,12,542, comprise two separate ex-parte orders of ₹15,31,450 and ₹18,81,092. The fines were imposed due to alleged supplies of goods without actual movement, a violation under Section 122(1) (ii) and (x) of the CGST Act, 2017, along with corresponding sections of the UTGST and IGST Acts, 2017.

The company stated that the communication outlining these penalties was received on December 11, 2025. R R Kabel Limited intends to appeal both orders, as indicated in its disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Beyond the payment of the penalty amounts, R R Kabel Limited anticipates no other significant impact on its financial, operational, or other activities as a result of these actions.
