Punjab National Bank reappoints five statutory central auditors for 2025-26

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India for the re-appointment of five Chartered Accountant firms as its Statutory Central Auditors (SCAs) for the financial year 2025-26. The announcement was made in compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

The re-appointed firms include M/s Ummed Jain & Co., Mumbai, serving their third year, and M/s N K Bhargava & Co., Delhi, also in their third year. M/s P S D & Associates, Jaipur will continue for their third year, while M/s Prem Gupta & Co., Delhi and M/s P A & Associates, Odisha are both in their second year of tenure.

A brief profile of each SCA firm was provided in an annexure, detailing their establishment year, number of partners, and key contact information. For instance, M/s Ummed Jain & Co. was established in 1981 with 14 partners, and M/s N K Bhargava & Co. was established in 1978 with 15 partners. This continuity in auditing firms aims to ensure consistent financial oversight for PNB.
