Lemon Tree Hotels expands Punjab footprint with new Keys Lite franchise

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a franchise agreement for a new property, Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels, in Kartarpur, Punjab. Announced on December 12, 2025, this marks a continued expansion of the company's presence in Punjab, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The new hotel will feature 47 rooms, a restaurant, a banquet and conference hall, and a fitness center.

The Kartarpur location is noted for its proximity to the Radha Soami Satsang Beas and its connection to the city's furniture market. Vilas Pawar, ceo – managed & franchise business, highlighted the signing as an extension of their pilgrimage portfolio and recognized Punjab's vibrant tourism, rich cuisine, and growing hotel infrastructure.

This upcoming property adds to Lemon Tree Hotels' existing portfolio, which includes two operational and nine upcoming hotels in Punjab. The company currently operates over 120 hotels across more than 80 cities in India and internationally, with a pipeline of over 120 additional properties.
