Hero MotoCorp unveils electric off-road motorcycle for young riders

VIDA, powered by Hero MotoCorp, introduced DIRT.E K3, an electric motorcycle specifically designed for young riders aged 4 to 10 years, marking its entry into the off-road segment. The DIRT.E K3 will be available at an introductory price of INR 69,990 for the first 300 units, with retail commencing from January 15, 2026. Deliveries will initially be in five Indian cities: Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, and Calicut.

The DIRT.E K3 features a three-stage adjustable system to adapt to growing riders, a 350W continuous / 500W peak motor, and a 360Wh removable battery. The battery fully charges in approximately three hours and provides up to three hours of riding time. It offers three ride modes—Beginner, Amateur, and Pro—with speeds up to 25 km/h.

The motorcycle was developed at the Hero Tech Centre Germany (HTCG) and the Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. Production will be at the VIDA electric vehicle line in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The DIRT.E K3 has received international recognition with the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and the CES Innovation Award Honoree 2026.
