Grindwell Norton ups green energy investment, company secretary resigns

Grindwell Norton Limited announced on December 12, 2025, that its board of directors approved an enhanced investment in Jamnagar Renewables Two Private Limited (JRTPL) for sourcing green energy. The investment for JRTPL, previously approved at ₹77 lakhs, has been increased to an amount not exceeding ₹86 lakhs. This enhancement is attributed to an increase in the planned capacity of the power producer and aligns with the company's sustainability and operational efficiency objectives. Grindwell Norton's capital contribution will not exceed ₹86 lakhs, equivalent to its proportionate shareholding in JRTPL, with equity shares issued at par at ₹10 each.

Additionally, the board accepted the resignation of Mr. Krishnaswamy Visweswaran from his roles as company secretary, compliance officer, and nodal officer. His resignation is effective from the close of business hours on February 6, 2026, due to an internal reorganization. Mr. Visweswaran confirmed that there are no other material reasons for his resignation.
