Court stays NHAI suspension on Ashoka Buildcon bidding

Ashoka Buildcon Limited announced on December 12, 2025, that the High Court of New Delhi has kept in abeyance Para 4 of a Show Cause Notice issued by the NHAI on November 26, 2025. This decision, communicated in an order dated December 8, 2025, temporarily prevents a potential one-month suspension from bidding or completion of an incident investigation.

The High Court's order mandates that Ashoka Buildcon submit a reply to the Show Cause Notice within three days of the order. Following this, NHAI is required to schedule a hearing to determine if any suspension action is warranted based on the facts and circumstances of the case, and pass a reasoned order if any suspension is to be taken.

The abeyance on NHAI's decision regarding temporary bidding suspension will remain until the conclusion of the aforementioned process. This disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
