RMC Switchgears commissions 8.8 MWac solar EPC project for MAHAGENCO

RMC Switchgears Limited has successfully commissioned 8.8 MWac of the 46 MWac Solar EPC Project for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) in Ahmednagar district. This phase represents ₹38.49 crore of the total project value of ₹153.98 crore, executed under a turnkey EPC contract. The company expects to complete the full 46 MWac capacity within the current financial year.

The project aims to enhance power supply stability and reliability for farmers, small businesses, and local households in a predominantly rural region, supporting Maharashtra’s renewable energy expansion. RMC Switchgears' chief executive, Ankit Agrawal, highlighted that this milestone demonstrates the company's commitment to timely and high-quality execution, reflecting its technical capability and disciplined approach.

This commissioning reinforces RMC Switchgears' role in sustainable infrastructure development, contributing to India's clean energy goals by leveraging its expertise in electrical infrastructure and expanding into solar EPC and green energy projects.
