MBL Infrastructure wins Supreme Court arbitration award, eyes strong project pipeline

MBL Infrastructure Ltd (MBL) announced on December 11, 2025, that the Supreme Court of India upheld an arbitration award dated January 28, 2020, as modified on February 10, 2021. This award, against Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL), relates to a completed construction project in Hisar District, Haryana. The company expects to receive INR 18.78 crores as of December 11, 2025, with an additional 12% p.a. interest, compounded monthly, until full receipt.

The company's bank accounts are 'Standard,' with Non-Fund Based (NFB) facilities totaling INR 303.63 crores available. Promoters have infused INR 108.29 crores, including INR 85.10 crores in fresh induction. MBL has paid dissenting banks a full and final settlement of INR 49.66 crores, and six of its eight subsidiary companies are now debt-free.

MBL has submitted bids for projects worth INR 1645 crores and aims for an order target of INR 1000 crores in FY 2026 and INR 2800 crores in FY 2027. The company's total claims stood at INR 3219.53 crores as of September 30, 2025, with arbitration awards received totaling INR 259.32 crores.
