Cyient expands Middle East presence, acquires Abu Dhabi tech firm

Cyient Limited, an Indian intelligent engineering solutions company, announced on December 11, 2025, a significant strengthening of its Middle East operations. This expansion aims to enhance its services across the region's energy, utilities, transportation, and connectivity sectors, supporting national development visions like Saudi Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2031.

As part of this strategy, Cyient acquired Abu Dhabi & Gulf Computer Est. (ADGCE), an Abu Dhabi-based technology consulting and digital services provider specializing in the energy sector. This acquisition is expected to improve Cyient's capabilities in delivering customized digital transformation programs, IoT-enabled solutions, data-driven asset management, and field engineering services.

The Middle East is projected to invest $200bn+ in the energy sector, presenting substantial opportunities for Cyient's sustainability and intelligent engineering businesses. Cyient anticipates broader growth in utilities modernization, rail and smart transportation networks, advanced manufacturing, and public-sector digitalization. The company emphasized its continued investment in region-specific capabilities and strategic partnerships to meet evolving customer needs.
