Crompton Greaves secures solar pumping system order in Maharashtra

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited (CGCEL) has been awarded an EPC contract by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The contract is for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems (SWPS).

This order, part of the MTSKPY/PM-KUSUM scheme, covers 1214 units across various locations in Maharashtra. The total value of the order, excluding GST, is INR 28,71,82,154.

The contract is for a domestic entity, and the work is expected to be executed within 60 days from the date of the notice to proceed. CGCEL confirmed that neither its promoters nor any promoter group companies have an interest in MSEDCL, ensuring the transaction does not fall under related party transactions. This announcement was made in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
