TVS Supply Chain Solutions gets tax order from Bihar authority

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) announced on December 10, 2025, that it has received an order from the Assistant Commissioner, Bihar State Tax Authority. The order, dated December 9, 2025, pertains to the financial year 2021-22 and alleges excess availment of input tax credit and short payment of tax liability.

The total demand from the order amounts to INR 4,29,60,916, comprising INR 2,44,71,973 in tax, INR 1,59,84,391 in interest, and INR 25,04,552 in penalty. TVS SCS stated that this tax demand is not expected to have a material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities.

The company further indicated that it plans to file an appropriate response and appeal the order before the authorities within the prescribed timelines.
