SRM Contractors unveils India's longest precast cut and cover tunnel

SRM Contractors Limited has announced the inauguration of India's longest Precast Cut-and-Cover tunnel, measuring 920 meters. The tunnel, located in a sensitive border region at an altitude of 12,300 feet (3,750 m), was inaugurated on December 7, 2025, by the honorable defence minister Shri Rajnath Singh. This project is expected to significantly enhance troop mobility, strengthen logistics, and boost India's operational readiness in high-altitude terrain.
