Gillette India announces new head for purchases department

Gillette India Limited informed stock exchanges on December 8, 2025, about a change in its senior management personnel. Pawan Verma will cease to be the company's purchases head, effective at the close of business on December 31, 2025, as he is relocating out of India due to a change in his assignment at P&G.

Following Verma's departure, Kartik Harugoli will assume the role of purchases head for Gillette India, effective January 1, 2026. Harugoli brings 16 years of experience at P&G, having worked across various categories, roles, and markets including India and the USA. His recent work includes leading purchases efforts for the brand building ecosystem for P&G India.

Harugoli's experience extends to sourcing across USA, Europe, APAC, India, Middle East, and Africa, where he implemented systems benefiting over 90,000 employees. This leadership transition is expected to maintain continuity and leverage his extensive background in the P&G ecosystem.
