Genesys digital twin map platform wins GovConnect award for Varanasi

Genesys International Corporation’s Digital Twin Map platform for Varanasi has received the GovConnect Award, acknowledging its impact on urban governance through spatial intelligence. The platform, underpinned by the Genesys New India Map Stack, enhances location intelligence for critical functions such as governance efficiency, infrastructure development, disaster preparedness, and citizen service delivery. municipal commissioner of Varanasi, Mr. Himanshu Nagpal, lauded the platform as a new standard for e-governance using spatial intelligence.

The Genesys Digital Twin Map Stack provides a high-precision 3D city model with 5-cm accuracy, integrating LiDAR-based mapping, live sensor feeds, navigation base maps, and temporal datasets. Over 2,500 CCTV cameras across Varanasi are linked to the system for enhanced crowd management, particularly vital during pilgrimage seasons. The platform also aids in flood-prone zone detection, disaster modeling, and predictive simulations for more resilient systems planning, and accelerates the monitoring and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.
