PG Electroplast refutes HDFC Sky article on financial health

PG Electroplast has formally addressed an article published on the HDFC Sky platform on December 5, 2025, titled "PG Electroplast in Limelight After Red Flags in Financial Health Raise Warnings." The company asserts that the article contains "factually inaccurate, unsubstantiated, and not reflective of the Company's actual financial position and operational performance."

In its clarification, PG Electroplast highlights consistent compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, and timely disclosure of all material information. The company states there are no undisclosed material developments regarding its financial health or operations. Furthermore, PG Electroplast affirms that its audited financial statements and quarterly results accurately represent its financial position and are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

The company specifically refutes claims of "rising leverage, weakening cash flows, and growing debt commitments," stating it is a "net cash company" with cash levels exceeding debt for the past 12 months. It also contests assertions of "shrinking working-capital cycles, higher borrowings, and a widening gap between operating cash generation and debt-servicing needs," emphasizing its "healthy cash flows" and "one of the best leverage and liquidity ratios in the sector." PG Electroplast maintains its financial year guidance of Sales at 5,700-5,800 crores and full-year profits of 300-310 crores, describing the article as "malicious and with some ulterior motives." The company has requested HDFC Securities to review and rectify the inaccuracies and reserves the right to take legal and regulatory recourse.
