MedPlus subsidiary faces temporary drug license suspension, minor revenue loss

MedPlus Health Services Limited announced on December 7, 2025, that its subsidiary, Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, received a two-day suspension of a drug license for a store in Telangana. The suspension was ordered by the assistant director, Drugs Control Administration, Medchal, Telangana, and was received on December 6, 2025.

The action was taken under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. MedPlus Health Services projects a potential revenue loss of approximately Rs 0.87 lacs due to this suspension.
