Landmark Cars expands BYD partnership, opens new Pune showroom

Landmark Cars Limited announced on December 6, 2025, that it has received approval from BYD India Private Limited to open a new showroom and workshop in Pune, Maharashtra. This expansion will be facilitated through Watermark Cars Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Landmark Cars. The move enhances Landmark Cars' existing partnership with BYD, making it the brand's largest retail and service partner in India with a total of seven BYD outlets.

The expansion into Pune marks Landmark Cars' entry into a new high-potential market for luxury, premium, and electric vehicles. Sanjay Thakker, promoter and chairman, highlighted BYD's strong performance in India's premium EV market, noting an impressive ~80% surge in sales this year. He emphasized the strategic alignment of the partnership, reinforcing Landmark Cars' role as a preferred partner for OEMs.

Landmark Cars Limited is a prominent premium automotive retail business in India, representing brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Jeep, Volkswagen, and BYD.
