Tech Mahindra expands into Rwanda with new subsidiary, Yabx Technologies

Tech Mahindra announced the incorporation of Yabx Technologies Rwanda Limited, a new step-down subsidiary, on December 5, 2025. This entity is a subsidiary of Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V., which itself is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited. The new company, Yabx Rwanda, is registered in the Republic of Rwanda and aims to provide software and analytics platforms and related services.

Yabx Rwanda's business objective aligns with Tech Mahindra's main line of business, focusing on offering services to prospective clients, including banks, micro-financial institutions, and other lenders in Rwanda. The incorporation certificate was issued by the Registrar General of the Rwanda Development Board on the same day.

The initial share capital of Yabx Rwanda comprises Frw 7,25,000, divided into 7,250 shares of Frw 100 each. Yabx Netherlands holds 100% of the shareholding in Yabx Rwanda. As of its incorporation date, Yabx Rwanda has not commenced business operations. The incorporation is not considered a related-party transaction for Tech Mahindra.
