Shyam Metalics reports mixed November 2025 sales, new plants boost volumes

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited experienced a mixed bag in sales performance for November 2025. Stainless Steel saw a 7.48% increase in sales volumes year-over-year (YoY) to 6,518 MT, with average realisations up 14.33% YoY to Rs. 1,42,442/MT. Month-over-month (MoM), Stainless Steel volumes rose 2.29%, and realisations increased by 3.65%. Aluminium Foil, however, faced a 4.58% YoY decrease in sales volumes to 1,926 MT, though realisations grew by 6.74% YoY to Rs. 3,72,339/MT.

Pellet sales significantly increased by 131.06% YoY to 1,02,561 MT, with realisations up 1.02% YoY to Rs. 9,021/MT. Speciality Alloys also recorded a 19.64% YoY increase in volumes to 19,432 MT, while realisations saw a marginal 0.74% YoY decrease to Rs. 93,619/MT. Carbon Steel volumes increased slightly by 0.98% YoY to 1,33,231 MT, but realisations declined by 9.18% YoY to Rs. 39,567/MT.

The company's Pig Iron segment saw a substantial 1865.63% YoY increase in sales volumes to 55,425 MT, following the commissioning of a blast furnace plant in November 2024. However, Pig Iron realisations decreased by 11.08% YoY to Rs. 31,594/MT. CR Coil/CR Sheets exhibited an extraordinary 1234.68% YoY jump in volumes to 15,218 MT, alongside a 25.04% YoY increase in realisations to Rs. 74,653/MT, attributed to the new colour-coated plant.
