Schneider Electric Infrastructure receives appeal order on input tax credit

Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited announced on December 5, 2025, that it received an Order-In-Appeal from the joint commissioner CGST Appeals, Vadodara. This order pertains to an alleged wrong availment of Input Tax Credit for the financial year 2019-20. The appeal order confirms the position taken in the previous order but notes a different penalty amount.

The appeal order demands a total of INR 92,76,092, comprising INR 2,138 in IGST, INR 46,36,977 in CGST, and INR 46,36,977 in SGST. Additionally, an equal penalty of INR 92,76,092 has been imposed, along with interest at an appropriate rate.

Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited has stated there will be no material impact on its financials, operations, or other routine business activities. The impact will be limited to the extent of the demand specified in the appeal order.
