Essar Shipping partially redeems NCDs worth over Rs 654 million

Essar Shipping Limited announced on December 5, 2025, the partial redemption of its 1% Secured, Redeemable, Unlisted, Unrated, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). These NCDs, with a face value of Rs. 100 each, were fully paid-up and issued to Abhinand Ventures Private Limited. The company redeemed 6,546,000 debentures, amounting to a value of Rs. 654,600,000.

The company disbursed Rs. 659,047,693 on redemption, which included principal and applicable interest. This amount comprised interest of Rs. 4,447,693 and a premium of Rs. 58,914,000. An earlier redemption occurred on November 13, 2025. Following this partial redemption, the balance of NCDs outstanding stands at 44,557,750 units.
