CG Power gets regulatory nod for promoter group reclassification

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited announced on December 5, 2025, that it has received "no objection" letters from both the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE Limited for the reclassification of certain promoter group members. This follows an application filed on November 2, 2025, for the reclassification of M/s. Coromandel Engineering Company Limited and M/s. Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited from the promoter group category.

The reclassification was granted under Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The two entities, referred to as "Outgoing Members of the Promoter Group," will cease to be part of the company's promoter group.

Both the NSE and BSE issued their no-objection letters on December 5, 2025. CG Power's company secretary and compliance officer, Sanjay Kumar Chowdhary, requested that the information be taken on record, confirming the successful regulatory approval for this change in the company's promoter structure.
