Zuari Agro Chemicals boosts stake in Paradeep Phosphates

Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited announced on December 4, 2025, the allotment of 6,54,33,846 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each in Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL). This transaction boosts Zuari Agro Chemicals' investment in the phosphate sector.

The allotment was made as part of a Scheme of Arrangement involving Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (MCFL), PPL, and their respective shareholders and creditors. Zuari Agro Chemicals received these PPL shares in exchange for 3,49,91,362 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each that it held in MCFL.

Specifically, the exchange ratio for the allotment was 187 fully paid-up equity shares of PPL (Rs. 10/- each) for every 100 fully paid-up equity shares of MCFL (Rs. 10/- each).
