Suzlon Energy fined for delayed groundwater application

Suzlon Energy Ltd. announced on December 4, 2025, that it has paid a penalty of INR 100,000 to the Central Ground Water Authority. The penalty was levied due to the late submission of an application required for obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the use of groundwater. The company confirmed that the requisite payment was made on the same date.

The disclosure was made in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company stated that the penalty resulted from a violation concerning the late application for the groundwater NOC.

Suzlon Energy clarified that this penalty has no material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities. The company's secretary, Geetanjali S. Vaidya, confirmed the details in the communication to both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
