Subros wins significant railway maintenance contract

Subros Limited, a leading manufacturer of automotive thermal products, has secured a new order from Indian Railways for a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract of Cab HVAC Units. The contract is valued at approximately INR 52.18 Crores (INR 44.22 Crores plus GST INR 7.96 Crores) and is expected to be completed within three years. This marks Subros's expansion into service contracts, complementing its existing role as a supplier of Rail Driver Cabin & Coach Air-Conditioning Systems to Indian Railways.

This latest order contributes to Subros's cumulative order booking for the Railways segment in the current financial year, which now stands at approximately INR 86.35 Crores for both supplies and maintenance. The company, a joint venture founded in 1985, is known for its integrated manufacturing of auto air conditioning systems and thermal products in India.

The order was awarded by Indian Railways, Banaras Locomotive Works, Varanasi, and is classified as a domestic entity contract. The terms are standard for Indian Railways.
