Seamec secures five-year charter for 'SEAMEC AGASTYA' vessel

Seamec Limited has signed a contract with HAL Offshore Limited for the charter hire of its Multi Support Vessel "SEAMEC AGASTYA" (formerly NPP NUSANTARA). The agreement, effective December 4, 2025, will deploy the vessel to ONGC under an existing HAL contract for five years, following its statutory dry dock completion.

The charter rate for the vessel is $25,000 per day for the remaining four years of the contract. The total charter value is estimated to be approximately $43.07 million, inclusive of GST. This transaction is a Related Party Transaction, conducted on an arm's length basis and within the normal course of business, as HAL Offshore Limited holds a 70.77% shareholding in Seamec Limited and is considered a promoter.
