Restaurant Brands Asia fined for packaging and labeling violation

Restaurant Brands Asia Limited announced on December 04, 2025, that it has received an order from the Additional District Magistrate, Surajpur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The order pertains to a violation of Regulation No. 3(1)(ZF), Section 26(2)(ii), and Section 52 of the Food Safety and Standards Act (Packaging and Labelling), Regulation 2011.

The company has been directed to pay a fine of Rs. 2,10,000 as a result of this violation. Despite the penalty, Restaurant Brands Asia Limited stated that there is no material impact on the financial, operations, or other activities of the company.

The announcement was made in accordance with Regulation 30 read with Schedule III (Para A of Part A) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
