Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC forms new GIFT City subsidiary for international funds

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited (ABSLAMC) has incorporated "Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC International (IFSC) Limited" as a wholly owned subsidiary in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued the Certificate of Incorporation on December 4, 2025, following an earlier intimation on July 24, 2025, regarding the proposed subsidiary.

The new subsidiary has an authorised capital of ₹15,00,00,000 and a paid-up capital of ₹50,00,000, fully subscribed by ABSLAMC through cash consideration. It will operate as a Fund Management Entity (FME) to undertake various investment management and advisory services in International Financial Services Centres, in compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The company obtained a no-objection from SEBI for establishing the WOS in GIFT City, in terms of Regulation 24(b) of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. The newly incorporated entity is yet to commence business operations.
