ZF CVCS India secures major ADAS business nomination

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited (ZF CVCS) has been awarded a business nomination to develop and calibrate an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite for a leading Indian e-mobility commercial vehicle OEM. This nomination encompasses ADAS development across multiple electric vehicle platforms, including 13.5-meter coaches, 55-ton trucks, and 7m, 9m, and 12m buses.

The ZF ADAS solution, featuring ZF's OnGuardMAX and short-range radar technology, provides 16 advanced features such as AEBS, BSIS, DDAWS, LDWS, and MOIS. This system ensures full compliance with the upcoming Indian safety regulation (GSR 184e) and has been certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). The solution has undergone extensive validation, logging over 300,000 km under diverse Indian road conditions, with 65,000 km in collaboration with customers, affirming its reliability.

This nomination reinforces ZF CVCS's commitment to enhancing safety and sustainability in India's commercial vehicle sector. The solution supports SAE Level 2 automation and is designed for future scalability, addressing unique Indian road challenges while contributing to smarter, safer, and more sustainable transportation.
