Vintage Coffee launches instant coffee in India, expands production capacity

Vintage Coffee and Beverages Limited (VCBL) has launched 100% Pure Instant Coffee in India, building on the success of its roast and ground coffee segment. This new offering will be available at Vintage Coffee Café in Navi Mumbai, which opened in September 2024, and through various e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, including Amazon and Blink it.

The company's chairman and managing director, Balakrishna Tati, highlighted the growing coffee consumption in India and stated that VCBL is introducing a blend proven successful in global markets. The instant coffee is crafted from shade-grown green coffee beans sourced from Coorg, Chickmagalur, and Hassan districts of Karnataka, processed at their state-of-the-art plant near Hyderabad.

VCBL, incorporated in 1980, is a publicly listed company. The company is expanding its production capacity for instant coffee from 6,500 MT to 11,000 MT by March 2026. Additionally, VCBL has initiated a new greenfield project to establish a 5,500 MT freeze-dried instant coffee plant, expected to be operational by March 2027.
