ONGC reappoints Arun Kumar Singh as chairman for another term

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has confirmed the re-employment of Arun Kumar Singh as chairman, effective December 7, 2025. This decision was conveyed by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, through a letter dated December 3, 2025. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved this re-employment.

Singh will serve on a contract basis for a further period of one year. His tenure will extend from December 7, 2025, or until a regular incumbent assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever occurs earliest.

This information was formally communicated to the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and BSE Limited as per Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The announcement was signed by Shashi Bhushan Singh, company secretary and compliance officer.
