Motherson subsidiary completes Rubbertec Group acquisition

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SMIL) announced today the completion of its indirect subsidiary Motherson Elastomers Pty Ltd. (MEPL)’s acquisition of the business and assets of Rubbertec Group. This follows an earlier disclosure on October 29, 2025, concerning the intent to acquire the Rubbertec Group's business as a going concern.

The acquisition was finalized on December 3, 2025, after all precedent conditions were met. This information was submitted to the exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30(7) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The completion of this acquisition marks a key development for SMIL, strengthening its business operations through its subsidiary. The company, via its company secretary Alok Goel, shared this update for the information and records of the respective stock exchanges.
