Gujarat Pipavav Port partners with NYK for RoRo infrastructure expansion

Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited announced a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with NYK India Private Limited. This strategic partnership aims to enhance the Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) infrastructure at Pipavav Port, focusing on high-quality facilities to support India's growing vehicle exports, automotive logistics, and electric vehicles.

The collaboration will concentrate on developing specialized RoRo infrastructure designed to handle 500,000 cars annually. A key objective is to reduce dwell time and enable seamless vessel-rail synchronization, thereby managing increasing rail volumes at Pipavav Port while promoting sustainable and efficient logistics operations.
